Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards.
First, Beth Ann Rosica, executive director of Back to School PA, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program after making national news after filing a lawsuit with parents against the West Chester School District after board members refused to provide transparency in determining pandemic edicts. Rosica tells of the climate in the court room, telling that the judge in the suit nearly scolded attorneys representing the School District. Rosica tells of the result, revealing that the judge has reversed the decision to remove the board members, but tells that the litigation is not over and tells what she thinks will happen moving forward.
Then, Pennsylvania Family Institute President Michael Geer joins the podcast to tell what he’s hearing as the most important issues to families across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Also, Giordano and Geer discuss a censoring by YouTube of a PA Family sponsored Republican gubernatorial debate, which the service later released after an appeal by the organization.
