Krasner Shows Off His New Bike To The Media
Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing a press conference held yesterday by District Attorney Larry Krasner, in which he introduced the media to his brand new bicycle. This was a part of a larger narrative by the DA, looking to highlight the effects that activities for city residents have in deterring crime. Dom and Dan play back the clip, discussing the ridiculous nature of the phrases he uses while discussing bicycling after a horrific Easter weekend of homicides. Then, Giordano reveals a new bill introduced by New Jersey State Senators Richard Codey and Anthony Bucco that would establish a curriculum in public education teaching context of the 9/11 attacks. Giordano likes the idea of teaching kids about the event, but takes umbrage with a portion of the bill that hones in on the negative treatment directed toward Muslims following the event.
Bloomberg Reports 25% of College Grads Make Less Than $30,000 Per Year
In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes gubernatorial candidate Dave White back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss why he believes he’s the best candidate to represent Republicans in the fight to earn back the Governor’s seat. First, Giordano tells White about a Bloomberg article that dropped today that notes that a quarter of college graduates make less than $35,000 a year, asking White about the success he’s found in the trades as a businessman. Then, Giordano asks White about a criticism he’s heard repeatedly, being White’s relationship with labor unions, and asks White whether he would support a ‘Right to Work’ law in Pennsylvania.
After giving an answer, White instead makes the point that the primary objective should be winning, and tells why he has the best shot against current AG Josh Shapiro in a general election faceoff.
Then, Dom spends the remainder of the hour talking about two big topics. First, Dom returns to the Bloomberg story noting the lack of success for college graduates, asking how these numbers could be accurate. Also, Giordano discusses the bill working its way through Trenton that will reframe and require curriculum centered on 9/11, particularly the reaction of Americans to Muslims after the events rather than focusing on the heroism portrayed that day. Finally, in today’s Dan Time with Dom, producer Dan tells about the public doxing of a Twitter regular by a hypocritical Washington Post writer.
McSwain Comments On Trump's Letter; Trafalgar's Cahaly Prognosticates PA Election
In today’s third hour, Dom welcomes in Bill McSwain, gubernatorial candidate for Governor in Pennsylvania. First, Giordano asks McSwain about Larry Krasner’s continued reliance and doubling down on progressive policies, with McSwain lamenting that those who suffer most are the communities that need the most help. Then, Giordano asks McSwain about comments made by President Trump about his gubernatorial candidacy, with the former President calling Bill a coward due to his relationship with Bill Barr, with McSwain explaining why he refuses to take any shots at the former President even though he vehemently disagrees with his assessment of the situation. Then, after McSwain and playing Dom’s Money Melody, Giordano returns to the topic of Larry Krasner and the crime wave in Philadelphia, discussing the way Krasner’s office continues to reframe and pass blame on crime to anybody but himself.
Then, Robert Cahaly, Chief Pollster at the Trafalgar Group, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss polling results his organization has seen in the Pennsylvania Senate and Gubernatorial races.
Giordano first reminds listeners who Trafalgar is, telling about their success in predicting Trump’s win and their past midterm success. Then, Giordano asks Cahaly about the unconventional tactics that Trafalgar uses to help solidify the accuracy of their polls, with Cahaly telling in-depth the strategies that his organization employs. Finally, Giordano and Cahaly discuss the polling results in Pennsylvania, with Oz winning their April 15th poll on the Senate race, and Mastriano winning the Governor poll, with both offering their political expertise to justify why both candidates have proven well in polling.
