Philadelphia School District Vaccinating Children 12+ Without Parental Consent

In a shocking revelation, Dom discovers that the School District of Philadelphia is offering vaccinations to children 12 and up without requiring parental consent. Giordano asks producer Dan to contact the school board to determine whether or not this is true, to which a spokesperson with the district responded with an edict set back in May that allows children 11 and up to be vaccinated. Dom and Dan dissect the ordinance that would allow such a divisive decision. Later, State Representative Martina White joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss what she knows about the situation, explaining the importance she places on parents working with their own children to come to a decision. White explains what she hopes to do to push back against such an edict.

West Chester Mother Speaks Out After Being Silenced at School Board Meeting

Anita Edgarian, a mother of three in the West Chester School District, dials into the Dom Giordano Program to tell Giordano and listeners of a recent meeting in which she was silenced by board members for speaking out against a commendation of a former superintendent. Edgarian, an Iranian immigrant who grew up during the Iranian revolution, was speaking about divisive curricula proposed by the former superintendent when she was forcefully cut off from continuing to speak. Edgarian explains the situation and tells why she found the actions of the school board so reprehensible.

A Refreshing Dose of Patriotism from the Olympics

In a refreshing departure from the anti-American sentiment from athletes representing the United States at the Olympics, Tamyra Mensah-Stock showed incredible patriotism by exclaiming how much she loved the country after an incredibly dominant gold medal performance in women’s wrestling. After playing back the post-match interview, Giordano and Dan explain why they felt so touched by the raw emotion effused by the incredible athlete. In addition, Giordano and Dan discuss why a company like Nike would rather support athletes such as Colin Kaepernick instead of prideful athletes such as Mensah-Stock.
