Bill McSwain on Continued Economic Peril Through Coronavirus
Gubernatorial candidate Bill McSwain, former U.S. Attorney of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program on the road to the election to discuss issues playing out around the state. First, Giordano and McSwain discuss an issue playing out in the Philadelphia suburbs, after Chichester High School withdrew from a football game against Academy Park after a shooting that left a young girl dead. Giordano and McSwain try to determine the underlying causes for the issues, and talk about the economic situation that has made it hard for even police to fill the ranks with workers.
McSwain and Giordano continue with a conversation about economic recovery, then shift to a conversation about the Liquor Control Board, an issue currently being debated in Harrisburg.
Todd Bensman Live From the Border
Todd Bensman, fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies and author of the new America’s Covert Border War, joins the Dom Giordano Program for a first-hand account of the situation playing out at the border. Bensman, who is currently in Mexico after crossing the border today, explains why he’s in Mexico and tells what he’s seeing first hand as multiple waves over the past few weeks have approached the border. Bensman has spent an ample amount of time speaking directly with the migrants and explains the reasons many are flooding the United States border, and suggests how the Biden administration could dig out of this crisis.
Dr. Marty Makary on Obesity Risk Factors and Booster Shots
Dr. Marty Makary, author of The Price We Pay: What Broke American Health Care, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program for an update on his projects, herd immunity, and the false doctrine that’s been put out by our public health officials. First, Makary and Giordano focus on heightened obesity in multiple states, and the risk factor that plays into obesity that the Biden administration continues to ignore. Makary discusses the continued propagation of fear by the Biden administration, explaining how the administration has used the strategy to their advantage. After that, Makary chronologically explains the situation surrounding boosters, telling Giordano of a purchase made by the White House that may have dictated the shuffling around the concept.
Famed Police Superintendent Mike Chitwood on Violence at Academy Park
Mike Chitwood, former Superintendent of Police for Upper Darby, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the decision by Chichester High School to withdraw from a game against Academy Park due to safety concerns. Chitwood lays out how he would have countered the situation which ultimately led to the withdrawal, that being the shooting of a football game that lead to the death of an 8-year-old. Chitwood explains that, if he were in charge, he would produce an all-out effort to hire more police officers to help counter the rise in violence in the city.
