A 32-year-old Oklahoma man was taken into custody after authorities found 20 explosive devices and more than 50 pounds of chemicals that could be used to make explosives in his car and home.
The search and seizure unfolded Wednesday when special agents with the ATF, FBI and Tulsa Police Department responded to a auto repair shop after an employee reported finding something suspicious in a car, KFOR reported. Multiple explosive devices were reportedly found inside the vehicle.
Investigators then went to the car owner's residence where they found additional explosive devices as well as supplies for making bombs.
In total, agents seized 20 explosive devices and more than 50 pounds of chemical components, KJRH reported.
The suspect, Daniel Charba, was arrested on multiple charges of possessing explosives. He's being held on a $1 million bond and is due back in court on April 18.
Authorities did not comment on any possible motive Charba may have had for the explosives.
