A pair of siblings who went missing almost a year ago in Missouri have been found over a thousand miles away in a Florida grocery store.

Adrian Gilley, 12, and Brooke Gilley, 11, were located near Gainesville by the High Springs Police Department after a “routine vehicle tag check” pinged the car belonging to the children’s “non-custodial mother” Kristi Gilley, 36, in a Winn Dixie parking lot.

She was found with the children inside the store “shopping… after disguising their identities,” according to a statement from the HSPD.

Kristi Gilley was arrested on a felony kidnapping warrant.

As for the children they were “turned over to the Florida Department of Children and Families… and will be reunited with their birth family,” HSPD said.

The children were reported missing in Liberty, Missouri, last March. So far, police have not released information regarding the circumstances of their abduction.
