Former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back after Vice President Kamala Harris said there’s “not a thing that comes to mind” when she was asked what she would have done differently from President Biden.
The vice president made her remarks while being interviewed by “The View,” and Trump used it as an opportunity to say a Harris presidency would be just like the last four years of Biden, despite her comments that she’s “not Joe Biden.”
“Lyin’ Kamala, who is being exposed as a ‘dummy’ every time she does a show, just stated to the degenerates on The View that she would have done nothing different than Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
The former president went after the Biden administration for its handling of immigration, inflation, the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, and global conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine.
Trump said that Harris’s response to the question was “her dumbest answer so far!”
Harris has been making the rounds, doing several interviews through traditional and nontraditional means. On Tuesday, she sat with “The View,” but over the weekend, an interview she did with the podcast “Call Her Daddy” was released.
During her Tuesday interview, Harris pointed to the administration’s more positive record, saying she’s been a part of the good, like the effort to cap insulin at $35 for Medicare recipients.
“And I’ve been a part of most of the decisions that have had an impact,” she said.
However, Harris circled back later in the interview, saying that one difference she would make from Biden is that she would have appointed a Republican to her Cabinet.
As of Tuesday morning, the race between Harris and Trump is as close as ever, with a New York Times/Siena College poll finding that 46% of voters think Harris “represents change,” while 44% think the same for Trump.
Overall, Harris still leads Trump in the poll, 49% to 46%, as the election sits less than four weeks away.
