A former adults-only, fetish-fueled resort is now set to become Las Vegas’s first cannabis-friendly hotel after a full makeover.

Once upon a time, the Artisan Hotel Boutique was a gothic-themed destination that boasted a topless outdoor pool area and an erotic air all throughout.

However, after a multi-million dollar renovation, The Artisan has now been transformed into The Lexi, a new 64-room hotel owned by Elevations Hotels and Resorts, and its selling point is its embrace of marijuana.

“While recognizing and normalizing the idea of cannabis in travel, The Lexi is set on creating a premium hospitality concept, an inspired culinary and cocktail program, and launching a spring/summer pool party season,” reads an official release.

The resort will also feature a new Cajun-inspired steakhouse run by Executive Chef Jordan Savell, who appeared in season 19 of Hell’s Kitchen.

“The Lexi allows the Elevations Hotels and Resorts brand to truly showcase our commitment to creating a new type of hotel concept that is defined not only by our acceptance and normalization of cannabis in the hospitality space, but also by our dedication to reclaim storied properties and transform them for the modern-day travelers,” Elevations president and CEO Alex Rizk said.

As for the cannabis-friendly rooms, the resort’s official website reads, “Spark a new sense of discovery from the comfort of our fourth-floor, canna-friendly accommodations—each of which are outfitted the cutting-edge air filtration technology to ensure the only thing that lingers is a good time.”

And the pool area? Still “European,” meaning tops remain optional if you desire “sprawling out, lazing in the sun, or simply savoring life unrestrained, uninhibited, and hidden from any exterior eyes,” the hotel’s site reads.

Stays at the resort can be booked at TheLexiLasVegas.com.
