North Texas is in the middle of a nasty hot spell, in which we could see high temperatures get close to 110 degrees, with an Excessive Heat Warning through Tuesday night. Dallas-Fort Worth has already gone past what would be the average number of days with triple-digit temperatures.
All it means is we will try to spend as much time indoors with the air conditioning blasting on us as we can. That makes this the worst possible time for the AC to go out.
