The Golf Classic honors the memory of former Temple Men's Basketball Coach, Jim Maloney. In his 14 years behind the bench with former Coach John Chaney, Maloney mentored future NBA players like Aaron McKie, Eddie Jones, and his son, Matt Maloney. His presence in the Philadelphia basketball community is missed.
And the "who's who" of Philly Hoops will be in attendance throughout the day, including, Coach Phil Martelli, current Big 5 Coaches Steve Donahue, Fran Dunphy, Adam Fisher, Billy Lange, Kyle Neptune, and Zach Spiker, along with our emcee from NBC Sports Philadelphia, Amy Fadool.
