Bob calls to announce that he is done listening because Greg predicts a socialist could eventually win the presidency, giving the crew plenty of material about political purity tests and listeners who announce their departure. We move to Florida Representative Randy Fine after Ring footage shows him looking through a voter’s mailbox while canvassing, then somehow land on Dan Bilzerian, pizza dipped in ranch and the increasingly rare habit of checking physical mail every day.
Fight Club opens with a snowy street fight that looks tame until one clean punch ends it. We compare it with baseball-fan brawls before rolling footage of a Wisconsin State Fair fight involving multiple groups of teens and young adults. After the break, Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s primary win gives way to a far more serious argument about the insanity defense and a Virginia man found not guilty by reason of insanity who receives an unescorted pass from a mental-health facility and uses it to board a one-way flight to Tajikistan.
We then return to the Lindsay Clancy trial and the massive financial support flowing toward her family. Clips from Clancy supporters blaming her husband ignite a fierce argument over internet sleuths, the insanity defense and claims made without courtroom proof. Lisa Rinna’s comments send us into a detour about cosmetic fillers before Phil delivers the Iowa State Fair Ladies’ Chicken Calling Contest, complete with Anna attempting a chicken call in her RFK Jr. voice. A caller then challenges our Clancy discussion before we head toward the final half-hour.
