That somehow leads to Jimmy Kelly’s old DJ work, Greg Stocker hiring him for his wedding, Greg’s lengthy list of music he refuses to hear and the approaching Stocker wedding anniversary. The YouTube chat gets its time as the crew checks the like count and reads what the audience thinks with Greg away.
The next Cut Sheet block is all vehicles. We watch an SUV blast through La Catrachita in South Philadelphia before the taqueria manages to reopen within hours, complete with a temporary storefront built by the owner’s father-in-law. Then Houston Uber driver Anthony Baines suddenly becomes part of a police pursuit when officers jump into his vehicle and direct him after a fleeing suspect. Nick immediately decides that getting recruited into a real police chase would be a dream scenario.
The mood changes with Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, where a pharmacy error sends potassium phosphate instead of the intended anesthetic medication to four joint-replacement patients. We discuss the severe injuries, the investigation and how such a mix-up happens. Then it is off to New York, where headlamp-wearing people keep climbing out of manholes and sending us into theories about sewer scavenging, underground risks and what in the world they are doing down there.
