Did Alaa Abdelnaby and Kate Scott 'mush' the Sixers?

The Knicks pulled off a miracle on Monday, one that very few saw coming.

Including the 76ers TV announcers.

As Kyle Lowry stood at the free throw line to all but ice game, two, the 76ers broadcasters praised Philly for taking home court advantage by splitting in New York, until of course, the Knicks knocked down two three-pointers in the final 30 seconds to turn a five-point deficit into their most thrilling playoff win in 25 years.

“You’d love two, but the goal is - not having home court advantage - to get you home court advantage by winning one of the two games on the road.
Job done,” Sixers TV analyst Alaa Abdelnaby said just before Lowry missed his second free throw attempt. “Let’s head down to the turnpike.”

“Stay tuned, postgame live is gonna be fun,” play by play announcer Kate Scott replied.

The postgame was indeed not fun, as the Knicks won the game in improbable fashion, sending the Sixers down the turnpike down 0-2 in the seven-game series.
