Happy Valley will be a lot happier this fall.

On Tuesday, Penn State announced that Beaver Stadium will once again be at full capacity this upcoming college football season.

That means 107,000 in blue and white once again cheering on the Nittany Lions.

Tailgating and other pregame activities will also be returning to State College.

"We are excited to welcome our 107K strong back in Beaver Stadium and full capacity at our other athletics venues this fall with the adjustments in university, local, state and CDC guidance," said Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Sandy Barbour. "Our fans are a true home field advantage for all of our teams and the 2020-21 season was not the same without them in our venues. We are so appreciative of the tremendous support of our donors and fans, especially during these challenging times, to allow us to continue to provide our more than 800 students-athletes with the conditions they need for success!"

Other athletic venues on campus will also be at 100 percent capacity.

Fans that are unvaccinated will be required to wear a mask inside all university buildings “at all times after June 28” in alignment with Penn State and CDC guidelines.

PSU Athletics encourages everyone that is able to, to get a vaccine.

One thing that will be different for the 2021 football season, all tickets will be fully mobile.

Season ticket holders will be notified via email beginning this Thursday.

Penn State’s first home game is against Ball State on September 11. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
