Deebo Samuel could be seeking a trade from the 49ers as the NFL Draft looms and he awaits a big contract extension.

49ers fan account @TheSFNiners_ shared a screengrab Tuesday afternoon from one of its recent Facebook posts. According to a comment by Deebo Samuel’s brother, Tyquan, the 49ers receiver is asking for a trade.

The post, which was published Friday, featured a cool graphic of Deebo, but a 49ers fan commented “Trade him” underneath it. To which Tyquan Samuel responded, “don’t worry we asking for a trade 😂😂”

Then Tyquan reiterated his statement on Tuesday, commenting, “he won’t be a 49er 😂 that’s all that matters.”

OK, so it’s an unofficial post from his brother on Facebook. It’s not a press release from Deebo’s agent. Still, there might be some smoke to this fire.

Earlier in the day, @TheSFNiners_ also shared a clip of ESPN’s Adam Schefter claiming Samuel might be trying to force his way out of Santa Clara.

The 49ers would probably love to lock up the 26-year-old offensive whiz, who is a unique receiver and running back threat. But the reality is, they only have $1.5 million of salary cap space while lugging Jimmy Garoppolo’s $26.9 million contract for next season.

Samuel could be looking for a contract worth $25 million annually and the Niners might not be able to meet his demands, especially not this offseason. Some fans are already linking Deebo with former 49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel with the Miami Dolphins.

The Eagles, who were reportedly close to acquiring Falcons star WR Calvin Ridley before his gambling suspension, are also in desperate need of some help at wide receiver and general manager Howie Roseman is never scared to make a big splash.

Philadelphia also has a slew of top three-round picks over the next three years, more than most teams, giving them extra trade ammunition. Here's a look at the Eagles' draft picks, within the first three rounds, over the next three drafts.
