DeSean Jackson wondered last offseason what his career might have been like if he got a chance to play with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
Sunday, it was Brady left to think about what could have been, as Jackson torched the defending Super Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a Los Angeles Rams win.

Against one of his three former teams, Jackson caught three passes for 120 yards and his first touchdown of the season. The Rams defeated the Buccaneers 34-24, improving to 3-0 in an early-season statement win.
Matthew Stafford now becomes the 12th quarterback to throw a touchdown to Jackson, a list that also includes Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick.
In Week 3, Jackson also passed Hall of Famer Jerry Rice -- one of the greatest players in league history at any position -- to become the all-time leader in touchdown catches of 50 or more yards:
What's crazy about this performance from Jackson is that Stafford missed Jackson on multiple other deep passes, potentially preventing him from having over 200 plus receiving yards at age 34.
Jackson -- who entered the day 41st in NFL history with 10,677 career receiving yards -- flashed this type of ability over the last two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, but was only healthy enough to play in eight of 32 possible games. If he's able to stay relatively healthy, perhaps 2021 could finally be the year Jackson gets to play on a team that makes a deep postseason run.
