Former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb still believes Philadelphia has a chance to make a postseason run, if they make some necessary changes.
"When I look on both sides of the ball it's the same mistakes each and every week," McNabb told Ike Reese and Jack Fritz on Monday's 94WIP Afternoon Show.
"Do we have a chance? We have a great chance," he continued. "But the question really comes about for me is, what is going to change? If we're going to it as business as usual, then we're going to find ourselves at home early. If we decide to try to figure out a way to change and kind of just create the opportunities for the other guys—like the D'Andre Swifts, the Gainwells, the Dallas Goederts, DeVonta Smith—we start creating those opportunities, even though it's late right now. You're going to have to do it at some point. And then on defense, our d-line has got to get to the quarterback, plain and simple...If we don't it's seven-on-seven so you got to score 30, 35 points in order to win and we just haven't been able to do that effectively."
