Noted Eagles "tush push" or "brotherly shove" trash talker Dallas Goedert revealed some of the things he said to Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday during the play.
"I think I told Aaron Donald that he needs to come off the ball harder, I told a couple people that they need to get their weight up," Goedert told Hugh Douglas and Joe Giglio on Tuesday's 94WIP Midday Show. "I tell them to stop jumping. A lot of times I just be telling them they should just give it to us.
"We've had great success with that this year. We continually try to adjust and make that play better. Coach Sirianni showed us the tip sheet on it and it's one full page of tips that we have on that play, which seems like it should be super easy but a lot of details go into it to kind of perfect it like we have."
The Eagles entered Sunday's game against the Rams 34-37 on the now controversial "tush push" play since they implemented in 2022, per ESPN's Tim McManus. In Sunday's win, Philadelphia went 4-4 using the play, including a touchdown to end the first half.
