What a treat! Eagles legend and Hall Of Famer Brian Dawkins joined Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show in-studio on Monday morning.

Before Sunday's 44-6 win over the Lions, the Eagles' defense were facing harsh criticism for not being aggressive under new defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon. B-Dawk talked about the importance of being aggressive on defense and how his defense played under the late, great Jim Johnson.

"Obviously I grew into a man under Jim Johnson, so I'm used to dictating. Like you dictate to the offense," Dawkins explained. "Jim would blitz you so much that when we didn't blitz in disguise, you thought we were blitzing and then guys still got pressure on the quarterback because of the threat of us blitzing. I know that doesn't make sense, but it does! And so, when you can dictate to an offense, now a quarterback does not sit back and have seven-on-seven drills. If you line up in what you are going to play to a guy like Aaron Rodgers and these guys, they're going to pick you apart.

"And so, Jim was like, 'No we're going to make you move. We're going to get you up out of your spot. We're going to get you so antsy, as they call it, we're going to get you seeing ghosts. We're going to get you seeing what's not there and that's going to get us so many more opportunities for interceptions and turnovers.'"

Dawkins told the 94WIP Morning Show about a new burger he designed being sold at any Chickie's and Pete's called the B-Dawk Impact Burger. Five dollars from every burger will go to the Brian Dawkins Impact Foundation, which helps to support "youth mental wellbeing in the face of the pandemic and a new initiative to provide modest grants to low-income single parents."
