Is DeSean Jackson REALLY upset that the Eagles gave Braden Mann No. 10?

DeSean Jackson isn’t the only man to ever wear No. 10 for the Eagles, or even do so for a long time – since George Kavell and Swede Ellstrom rocked it in 1934, 24 total men have been the dime, and Koy Detmer’s nine years with the number are the most on the team.

It’s mostly QBs that have worn it, obviously, as until a couple decades ago, only quarterbacks or specialists could wear it, and D-Jax is one of only three receivers to don it, but the last two have been…punters?

Indeed, Arryn Siposs took it over from Gardner Minshew this season, and when he was cut, Braden Mann inherited from his fellow punter – and it seems that while he was cool with Minshew and Chase Daniel rocking it under center, the punter getting 10 is a problem for D-Jax?

“Man, do you see that? I man come on, that’s low-key disrespectful! A punter wearing D-Jax’s number? Man, I guess I’m just not that special,” Jackson said in an appearance on Kay Adams’ show recently.

Maybe it was a joke, maybe not, but Joe Giglio and Hugh Douglas, at least, are cool with Braden Mann!
