It sounds like Jerry Rice got a warm welcome from Eagles fans in Philly.

The 49ers legend was on the field before the NFC Championship as he was an honorary captain. At one point during the pregame, he was getting an earful from the crowd but responded by pulling out his Super Bowl rings and flipping them the bird.

Kate Rooney of KRON4 was in Philly to capture the moment from Rice, who was also wearing his patented sparkling gold helmet chain.

If you got a handful of rings, might as well flaunt ‘em right? The 60-year-old Hall of Famer won three titles with the Niners, so that fourth ring might have been some NFC title game hardware. He loves to interact with the crowd at 49ers home games, but the GOAT was having some fun with the notoriously rabid Eagles crowd.

Rice never played a postseason game in Philly, but he was on the squad when San Francisco beat Philadelphia 14-0 in a 1996 Wild Card matchup. But tensions were high heading into the NFC Championship Sunday between the conference’s top two teams.
