Joe Giglio had the highest of praise for Howie Roseman after the Eagles took down the Chiefs on Monday night, declaring that the Birds executive has put together as close to a perfect roster as anyone in the NFL.
“Howie Roseman has created a roster that is not perfect, but is the closest thing in this NFL to that, because they don’t have one area that destroys them,” Joe said. “The secondary is not very good, but they can get by. The pass rush is obviously excellent. They get by with the linebackers. We know the offense is very good.”
Joe saw it all on display on Monday night, as the Eagles beat the defending Super Bowl champions despite not playing their best game, and are now 9-1 on the season for the second year in a row.
“They are tough, they are strong, they are deep, and Howie Roseman’s fingerprints [are all over it],” Joe said. “Because he doesn’t leave any stone unturned.”
