Dr. Lisa Kaplin D.O., an orthopedic surgeon joined Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie on Friday's 94WIP Morning Show to discuss Joel Embiid's knee situation.
Earlier this week the Sixers announced that Embiid, 31, will undergo arthroscopic surgery next week on his left knee.
Dr. Lisa Kaplin, D.O. is a orthopedic surgeon and has joined Redeemer Orthopedic Group seeing patients in Rockledge and Abington, PA.
Dr. Kaplin specializes in sports medicine including rotator cuff repair, knee cartilage restoration and ACL reconstruction.
Dr. Kaplin is a former intercollegiate soccer player and completed her fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at Wake Forest University.
Dr. Kaplin was previously the Team Physician for LaSalle University Athletics from 2019-2022. She is currently the Team Physician for Salem Community College.
Dr. Kaplin enjoys working out and spending time with her family.
