Rhys Hoskins, now a Milwaukee Brewer, spoke about his eventual return to Citizens Bank Park set for Monday, June 3rd.
"I'll have very fond memories of my time in Philly, I'll be excited to go back whenever that is," Hoskins said when asked about his legacy in Philadelphia during his introductory Brewers press conference via Zoom.
"I'm sure it will be emotional, I'm sure it will be weird, but I think at the end of the day—and I think Philly will be able to appreciate this—I think at the end of the day I hope the Brewers win."
Joe DeCamara reacted to the above quote on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show.
"That does hurt, that hurts!" DeCamara said laughing. "You respect it. He's kind of giving you a little humor, I mean he knows what he's doing. He's not being a jerk about it. He's just joking around, he wants to win. God bless him."
