October 14, 2018 The 25-year played a little bit a tight end while playing at Michigan in college. He was selected in the second round by the Carolina Panthers in the 2015 Draft.
Funchess played four seasons with the Panthers, including an appearance in Super Bowl 50. He joined the Indianapolis Colts last season, playing only one game with the team due to a collarbone injury that placed him on injured reserve for the season.
Details on Funchess' deal:
My understanding it’s a one-year, $2.5 million deal for Devin Funchess with the #Packers — $1M signing bonus, $1.2M base salary, $50K workout bonus and $15,625 for each game active. Another $3.75M available in incentives, so max is $6.25M. https://t.co/r8Ghgpc2Ty
