Brewers' Corbin Burnes wins NL Cy Young

Wednesday afternoon, Corbin Burnes became the first Milwaukee Brewer to win a Cy Young award since Pete Vuckovich in 1982. Along with Rollie Fingers, Burnes is the third pitcher in franchise history to win Cy Young.

Burnes narrowly edged Philadelphia's Zack Wheeler to take home the award. According to the voting results, Burnes and Wheeler both earned 12 1st-place votes. Burnes finished 10 points ahead of Wheeler due to 14 2nd-place votes and three 3rd-place votes.
