We believe everyone wants to live in a beautiful clean environment. We believe every person can make a difference. That’s why we believe in the power of 1Thing.

Our company’s 1Thing Sustainability Initiative promotes positive environmental practices and living. We know that a corporation can have a big impact on the world, but beyond our own practices we know that one of Audacy's greatest strengths is the reach we have to people all over the country through radio and the internet.

We also believe in the power of the individual. We know that if everyone did just 1Thing to improve the environment every day, our world would be a better place to live in. We would reap the benefits today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.

That’s why we created 1Thing. We reach out to those individuals through our various media platforms. We offer simple tips and practices to become more environmentally friendly every day. There’s always something you can do, no matter how busy you are. If you just did one thing every day, those actions would add up very quickly.

We also know that there are people out there that want to dedicate a lot more time to keeping the planet clean and helping out the environment, but the hardest part is just getting started. We reach out to those individuals as well.

Carpool to work. Ride your bike instead of taking the car. Recycle that can instead of throwing it out. Get a reusable grocery bag. Buy some energy saving light bulbs. These are things that everyone can do. They will lead to bigger things, like volunteering for a cleanup of a local park or waterway, starting your own garden, maybe even organizing others to do the same.

No matter who you are, we know that doing 1Thing will lead to another, and another, and another. Whether it’s one person or a group or a corporation, all of those efforts multiply and have a greater effect. At some point in time, you look back, and realize how much better and greener the world is!
