Created with jeweler Alex Moss, Drake’s “Previous Engagements” chain boasts a total of 42 diamonds, each meant to represent a time the rapper considered popping the question. Yes, you read that correctly, apparently Drizzy’s considered proposing marriage not once, not twice, but 42 separate times.
After Drake wore the piece at "Lil Baby & Friends Birthday Celebration Concert" on December 9, Moss shared an up-close look of the impressive diamond necklace on his IG, describing it as “42 engagement rings, 351.38 carats in diamonds.” As heard on the video’s voice-over, each stone was chosen “to only suit perfection”… “for all the times he thought about it, but never did.”
Not sure if that means all 42 considered proposals are for different women, or if half the diamonds are for Rihanna, either way Drake is either the world’s most hopeless or helpless romantic, which we kinda already knew.
