The Kansas City Chiefs are still fortifying their defensive line.
According to multiple reports, the Chiefs are expected to sign defensive tackle Jarran Reed to a one-year deal.
Reed, 28, spent the last five seasons with the Seattle Seahawks as a force on the interior defensive line. He had 38 tackles and 6.5 sacks last year, including 14 QB hits.
His best season, however, came in 2018 when he had a career-high 50 tackles and 10.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, 24 QB hits and 12 tackles for a loss.
Reed joins Pro Bowl defensive tackle Chris Jones on the Chiefs interior line and the two paired together is a dangerous combo.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes seems to understand just how dangerous they can be for opposing quarterbacks, tweeting his approval with a gif of The Rock.
