Bears hire 2 assistants to offensive staff

(670 The Score) The Bears have added a pair of assistants familiar with new offensive coordinator Luke Getsy.

Chicago has hired Tim Zetts as its new assistant tight ends coach and Omar Young as an offensive quality control coach. But worked alongside Getsy during their time previously with the Packers.

Zetts, 36, was previously an offensive quality control coach with the Packers. He served as the backup quarterback to Getsy at Akron. Zetts worked with Getsy during stops at Akron (2008), Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2011) and Mississippi State (2018) before they each arrived to the Packers.

Young, 38, worked previously as Eastern Illinois' running backs coach. He worked with the Packers in a quality control role from 2017-'18, crossing paths with Getsy in 2017.

The Bears have filled every position coach role except for running backs coach.
