(670 The Score) As he continues to take punishing hits, Bears quarterback Justin Fields is dealing with the third different injury of his rookie season.
Fields suffered an ankle injury in a 17-9 loss to the Vikings on Monday night. It happened in the second quarter, and Fields explained that his adrenaline helped him play through the pain. He'll be listed as limited on the injury report for the Bears' walk-through work Wednesday at Halas Hall, coach Matt Nagy said.
The Bears believe Fields will be able to play at the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.
"Right now, I'm expected to play," Fields said before practice Wednesday. "But it's really day-by-day."
Fields, 22, missed two games earlier this season because of fractured ribs. He also dealt with a left hand injury last week.
The No. 11 overall pick in the NFL Draft last spring, Fields has played in 12 games for the Bears this season, starting 10. He has completed 58.9% of his passes for 1,870 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
In other injury news, the Bears listed offensive tackle Jason Peters (ankle) as not participating in practice. Returner Jakeem Grant (concussion) and cornerback Xavier Crawford (concussion) remain in the protocols. Receiver Marquise Goodwin (foot) was limited in his work.
The Bears (4-10) take on the Seahawks (5-9) on Sunday in Seattle.
