Source: Offensive lineman Lucas Patrick, Bears agree to 2-year deal

(670 The Score) Interior offensive lineman Lucas Patrick and the Bears have agreed to terms on a two-year deal worth up to $8 million, a source said Tuesday night. NFL Media first reported the deal.

Patrick, 28, has played in 73 games for the Packers over the last five seasons. He has started 34 games in his career, including 28 at guard for Green Bay over the last two years.

Patrick's addition will bring the Bears a projected starter on the offensive line after right guard James Daniels reached a deal with the Steelers earlier Tuesday. It's unclear how the Bears will realign their interior offensive line this season.

Patrick joins the Bears boasting familiarity with new Chicago offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, who previously worked on Green Bay's coaching staff.

Deals can become official on Wednesday at 3 p.m. CT with the start of the NFL's new league year.
