(670 The Score) Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson has been shut down for the remaining three games of the regular season after being placed on injured reserve Friday.

Johnson suffered a finger injury during practice this week. While there was hope he could play through the injury with a protective brace, the Bears decided to shut down Johnson ahead of the final three games of the season.

The 23-year-old Johnson played in 11 games this season, his third with the Bears.

The Bears also shut down cornerback Kindle Vildor (ankle) by placing him on injured reserve. He had dealt with the ankle injury for much of this season. Chicago officially activated running back Khalil Herbert (hip) from injured reserve.

Herbert has rushed 108 times for 643 yards and four scores this season.

The Bears signed cornerback Breon Borders from the practice squad to the active roster. The team also flexed tight end Chase Allen and receiver Nsimba Webster from the practice squad.

The Bears (3-11) and Bills (11-3) kick off at noon CT on Saturday from Soldier Field.
