(670 The Score) Bears running back Khalil Herbert suffered an ankle injury early in the third quarter of Chicago's game at Washington on Thursday night.
Herbert twisted his ankle while trying to turn back to make a catch. He was tended to by trainers on the field and later returned to action, only to limp off again. The Bears listed Herbert as questionable to return.
It wasn't the first injury concern of the evening in the Bears' backfield. Earlier, rookie running back Roschon Johnson was ruled out for the game with a concussion, and running back Travis Homer was dealing with a hamstring ailment. With D'Onta Foreman inactive, the only healthy and available member of the Bears' backfield was fullback Khari Blasingame.
