(670 The Score) The Bears don’t own a pick in the first round of the NFL Draft, but they’ll be busy on the second day.

The Bears hold two second-round picks and a third-round selection, all of which they’re in line to use next Friday, unless the front office decides to make a trade. With those three picks, there are four positions of need Chicago should focus on, Brad Biggs of the Tribune said on the Mully & Haugh Show on Friday morning.

“With three picks a week from today, I think there are pretty good odds that one of those three is an offensive lineman,” Biggs said. “Unless the player is not there, unless they feel like it’s a reach, it would seem to make sense because really the only thing they’ve been able to do is bring in Lucas Patrick to play center, and they’ve lost James Daniels. They’ve signed Dakota Dozier – I don’t know that he makes the roster. I mean, we’ll have to see.

“You certainly can’t walk out of a three-day voluntary minicamp and have too many takeaways on your roster toward the draft either. If they didn’t know before they rolled out on the field Tuesday that they needed help at wide receiver and cornerback, they probably shouldn’t have a job at Halas Hall. Right? You don’t need to go through that process to understand you need upgrades there and depth there. I think the same goes for the offensive line as well. So some positions I would be thinking about for next Friday with those three picks – obviously offensive line, obviously wide receiver, you’ve got cornerback. And guys, defensive line. You look at the guys they’ve got on this defensive line and you listen to Matt Eberflus talk about wanting to play guys in waves and wanting to maybe use as many as nine guys up front in a rotation, boy, I think that means that they’re in need of not only depth but they’re in need of more talent there as well. So those are four positions that I would really think about with three picks that they have a week from today.”
