(670 The Score) Bears great Devin Hester will have to wait for his call to the Hall of Fame.

Hester wasn't elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame's class of 2023 on Thursday, as Score afternoon host Danny Parkins first reported in the afternoon. The official announcement was made Thursday night at the NFL Honors ceremony in Arizona as part of the Super Bowl week festivities.
Hester was a modern-era finalist for the second straight year. He's the NFL's all-time leader in return touchdowns with 20, including 14 punt return touchdowns. Hester played eight of his 11 NFL seasons with Chicago, recording all but one of his return touchdowns for the Bears.
Hester played with the Bears from 2006-’13 before moving on to the Falcons (2014-’15), Ravens (2016) and Seahawks (2016).
Thirty Bears have been selected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the most of any team in the NFL.
