What should Bears offer in a trade for Commanders pass rusher Chase Young?

(670 The Score) The Bears are still in need of a boost for their pass rush, a position they're looking to upgrade before the start of the regular season.

One option potentially in play for the Bears could be a pursuit of Commanders pass rusher Chase Young, the No. 2 overall pick in 2020. The 24-year-old Young had his fifth-year option declined by Washington, and he's slated to become an unrestricted free agent next offseason. Before then, he could become a trade candidate.

On Score Evenings on Wednesday, Gabe Ramirez and Clay Harbor discussed what they would offer in a trade to the Commanders to land Young for the Bears.

"Third-round pick? You only get him for one year," Harbor said. "I'd probably go fourth-round pick, because he's only got a one-year deal. You're renting him for a year. If you get him for two, then I'm going to give a third-round pick. A third-round pick is still a nice pick. I would give them a fourth, and they can take (receiver) Velus (Jones) too."

"I really want to see him in a Bears uniform because I want that Khalil Mack-type guy off the edge," Ramirez said.

Young has nine sacks over 27 games during his three years in Washington.
