(670 The Score) The Cubs recalled outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong from Triple-A Iowa ahead of their series finale against the Brewers in Milwaukee on Thursday afternoon.
Crow-Armstrong, 22, was optioned to Triple-A on May 21. He went on a tear in his short stint there, going 12-of-31 with four doubles and three homers in seven games. Crow-Armstrong is hitting .236 in 23 games with the Cubs this season.
The Cubs optioned rookie infielder Luis Vazquez to Triple-A in a corresponding move to open a roster spot for Crow-Armstrong. Vazquez, 24, appeared in two games with the Cubs recently.
