(670 The Score) On the Mully & Haugh Show, Tommy Birch of the Des Moines Register discussed how a trio of heralded Cubs prospects in third baseman Matt Shaw, right-hander Cade Horton and catcher/first baseman Moises Ballesteros are faring at Triple-A Iowa.
In particular, the 21-year-old Ballesteros has been impressive, hitting .396 with four homers and a 1.055 OPS in 25 games for Iowa this season.
"From a hitting standpoint, what he's doing is absolutely remarkable," Birch said. "It kind of reminds me of toward the end of Kris Bryant's tenure in Des Moines, where you just realize there was absolutely nothing left that he could do from an offensive standpoint, where he's just not getting challenged really at all."
