RADIO.COM Sports expert picks: NFL Week 9

nfl

(RADIO.COM Sports) If the Dolphins played against the Cardinals two years ago, it would've been one of the least interesting games on the NFL's weekly slate. It's a different case now. After both teams made what appear to be successful coaching changes after the 2018 season and used a top-five pick on a quarterback in the last two years, the Dolphins-Cardinals matchup sits as one of the most intriguing games in Week 9.

Since losing to the Lions and Panthers in consecutive weeks, Kyler Murry and the Cardinals have won three straight games to improve to 5-2, including a victory against the division rival Seahawks on Sunday Night Football in Week 7 before hitting their bye week.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins have won four of their last five games, with the one loss over that period coming in a one-possession game against the Seahawks. The team turned to No. 5 overall pick Tua Tagovailoa last week, but he wasn't asked to do much in a 28-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Don't expect a repeat of that, as the 4-3 Dolphins attempt to keep pace with the Bills in the AFC East.

The matchup between Murray and Tagovailoa figures to be one of the most interesting tilts on a slate of 14 games this week.

Before we get to our full predictions on Week 9, these are the season-long records from our RADIO.COM Sports experts:
