DeSean Jackson's first catch as a Las Vegas Raider wasn't one that he's going to want to reminisce about when he's career is over.

For all the special moments that Jackson has had in parts of 14 NFL seasons, his first reception as a Raider was perplexing.

In the third quarter of the Raiders Sunday Night Football tilt with the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs, Jackson caught a 37-yard pass from Derek Carr. Rather than running into the end zone -- which he seemingly could have done -- Jackson stopped and ultimately had the ball punched out:

Ironically, Jackson is making his debut with his fifth NFL team against Andy Reid, who was part of the brass with the Philadelphia Eagles that selected him in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Reid coached one of the greatest deep threats in NFL history for the first five seasons of his career.

Jackson had eight catches for 221 yards in seven games as a member of the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, but was ultimately released earlier this month as he looked for an opportunity where he would have a bigger role.
