DeSean Jackson apparently had some friction with Donovan McNabb during his time in Philly and it had nothing to do with the number of targets he was getting on gamedays.

On the latest episode of the I Am Athlete podcast with LeSean McCoy, Brandon Marshall and Adam “Pacman” Jones, Jackson broke down how the relationship between he and McNabb went sour during the QB's final season with the Eagles, claiming it all revolved around his 2009 Pro Bowl selection as a punt returner and wide receiver.

“When the ballots came out, and they found out that I was the first player in NFL history to get elected to start in the Pro Bowl for two positions, my starting quarterback tells [backup] Michael Vick, ‘Damn, I don’t think he should’ve got that. He shouldn’t have deserved that,’ ” Jackson said. “Like, you’re telling another quarterback, that your receiver — that you throw to, your receiver — that he didn’t deserve that.”

Jackson then claims that the six-time Pro Bowler charged him $25 to attend an all-white party hosted by McNabb.

“That was crazy, bro,” said McCoy, who was on that team as well.

The slander towards McNabb is nothing new coming from teammates that have played with him. McNabb's beef with Terrell Owens has been well documented, with the two trading blows between each other for years. Another notable receiver, Freddie Mitchell, learned that his QB "hated him" from all places -- from a stripper at a strip club.

Jackson said he wasn’t happy with the remark but never brought it up with McNabb.

One thing is for sure, whether McNabb liked Jackson or not, his Pro Bowl appearance in 2009 was well deserved. Jackson caught 62 passes for 1,156 yards and nine touchdowns. He added 137 rushing yards and one touchdown during his breakout year.

In early 2010, McNabb was eventually traded to Washington with Jackson making it to the Pro Bowl without McNabb.
