Pro Bowler Odell Beckham Jr. put his Columbia Station home on the market earlier this week, listing the lavish, 13,800-square-foot property at $3.3 million. The four-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate in suburban Cleveland includes a home gym, movie theater, barbershop, custom dog kennel, golf simulator, in-ground pool with accompanying slide, and best of all, a mammoth sneaker “closet” that may as well be its own house. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the height of luxury.
Odell’s former Rams teammate, Aaron Donald, bought a similarly enormous mansion in Los Angeles recently (the majestic Hidden Hills residence, which resides in the same neighborhood as Matthew Stafford and coach Sean McVay, sold for an obscene $17.1 million), but does it come with a shoe collection that could occupy its own zip code? No sir, it does not.
Beckham’s sneaker storage—which looks more like an Amazon fulfillment center than a closet—left the ESPN trio of Keyshawn Johnson, Max Kellerman and Jay Williams in awe, marveling at the receiver’s “airline hanger” of Nikes. “It’s a Foot Locker at the mall,” said Williams of the sneaker paradise. “The shoes are all color-coordinated.”
Beckham remains a free agent after tearing his ACL in February’s Super Bowl win over Cincinnati. Assuming the normal recovery time, the 29-year-old should be poised for a midseason return.
