Big news in the world of the Patriots: Their owner is engaged.
Page Six reported over the weekend that Robert Kraft and his girlfriend of more than a year, Dr. Dana Blumberg, were planning to wed, with an announcement of the engagement coming from Tommy Hilfiger at the designer's gala.
The report goes on to say that Blumberg was seen wearing a ring that "looked like it was 10 carats or more."
In the piece, a source was quoted as saying, "Tommy Hilfiger was the honoree and Robert and Dana were both chairs of the event for Tommy. [Hilfiger] said his ‘good friend Bob Kraft got engaged to Dr. Dana Blumberg’ at the event on stage, speaking to the whole audience.”
The 47-year-old Blumberg, a world-renowned eye doctor, has been seen with Kraft at various high-profile functions over the last couple of years, including the most recent Super Bowl.
Kraft was previously married to his college sweetheart, Myra, who passed away in 2011.
