Andy Benoit joined Andy and Jeff to explain his piece in Sports Illustrated about why it's time for Baker Mayfield. He said the Browns are a much-better schemed offense this year than the last two seasons and they need a quarterback who throws receivers open.
He said Baker's style of play fits the way the Browns offense looks now, and that wasn't the case earlier in Hue Jackson's tenure, nor does this version of the Browns offense look like what Taylor ran in Buffalo. He estimated we'd see Mayfield by the end of October.
He also said the Browns are much better-schemed now and they don't need the one-on-one types (Corey Coleman, Josh Gordon) as much as they did in years past.
They also touched on Gordon in New England and what's going on in Pittsburgh right now.
