Browns make pair of picks in sixth round of NFL Draft

Berea, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns made a pair of picks in the sixth round of the Draft Saturday

Cleveland selected Texas A&M receiver Damion Ratley 175th overall and Louisiana-Lafayette cornerback Simeon Thomas with the 188th pick.

Ratley is the second receiver taken on day 3 of the draft by general manager John Dorsey. Dorsey traded up to pick Florida wideout Antonio Callaway inearlier in the day in the fourth round, No. 105 overall.

Listed at 6-3, 190 pounds, Ratley appeared in 34 games over 3 seasons where he caught 43 passes for 829 yards and 6 touchdowns for the Aggies. 

Thomas is listed at 6-3 1/2, 195 pounds but has a checkered past, including struggles with acedemic eligibility and run-ins with law enforcement.
