Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns hosted 36 NFL Draft hopefuls at the team’s pro day held Friday at their training facility in Berea, Ohio.
NFL rules permit each team to host a pro day at their respective facilities leading up to the draft consisting of players that either grew up or attended college in that team’s region.
Browns general manager John Dorsey and members of his front office and scouting department along with head coach Freddie kitchens and his staff ran the workout for the draft hopefuls.
Ohio State defensive lineman Dre'Mont Jones was joined by five Buckeye teammates, including kicker Sean Nuernberger, at the workout.
Akron had the highest representation – 12 players – while Notre Dame College, John Carroll, Mercyhurst and Charleston were among Division II and III programs that were represented as well.
