To make room, the team waived defensive tackle Trevon Coley and safety Juston Burris and placed offensive tackle Drew Forbes on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Ricky Seals-Jones was signed in 2017 by Arizona as an undrafted free agent and he has appeared in 25 games with six starts. He’s caught 46 of 97 targets for 544 yards and four touchdowns in his brief career.
Hodge is a second-year pro who played in 14 regular season games and three postseason games for the Rams after joining the team during training camp as an undrafted free agent. He has two catches for 17 yards on his resume and will be the Browns’ sixth receiver.

Former Browns tight end Seth DeValve was the only player among the 28 waived by Cleveland Saturday that was claimed. He was awarded to Jacksonville.
DeValve posted a thank you on his Twitter account Sunday afternoon.
“Thank you to the @Browns for my first opportunity in the NFL! Cleveland is an incredible city with incredible people. I will never forget my time spent here, the connections I made with the community, and the friendships I built. Excited for the next chapter in Jacksonville!” DeValve tweeted.
There were no claims placed on guard Kyle Kalis or fullback Joe Kerrige, who were waived with an injury designation. Both players revert back to the Browns reserve/injured list.
The Browns also signed defensive tackle Brandin Bryant, tight end Stephen Carlson, wide receiver Shelton Gibson, linebacker Willie Harvey, safety J.T. Hassell, cornerback Robert Jackson, wide receiver Derrick Willies, center Willie Wright and defensive back Tigie Sankoh to their practice squad. Because Sankoh is an international player, he does not count against their 10-man practice squad limit.
