July 15, 2020 For the Houston, Texas native, he'll try to continue the success that he had with the LSU Tigers. Delpit, 21, finished career in the Bayou with 199 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks and eight interceptions. He was a major factor in the National Championship, making six tackles and a sack for a 10-yard loss in the team's championship win against Clemson.
Delpit was well decorated in his time at LSU, as the ninth LSU player in history to be a unanimous All-American as well as the third LSU player to claim the Thorpe Award for the best defensive back in college football.
