Cleveland, OH (92.3 The Fan) – The highly anticipated introduction of Odell Beckham Jr. will take place Monday afternoon.
The Browns will hold Beckham’s introductory press conference at their Berea facility on the same day their voluntary offseason program begins.
Cleveland officially acquired Beckham, a three-time Pro Bowler, along with Pro Bowl defensive end Olivier Vernon on March 13 for right guard Kevin Zeitler, safety Jabrill Peppers as well as the Nos. 17 and 95 picks in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Sensitive to the Indians home opener celebration, the Browns are scheduling the presser to not interfere or coincide with the festivities at Progressive Field.
Head coach Freddie Kitchens is scheduled to speak at 1:30 and playes will follow.
Beckham reunites with his friend and college teammate Jarvis Landry as well as receivers coach Adam Henry, who coached both players at LSU.
Beckham, 26, has amassed more than 1,000 receiving yards in four of his five seasons.
Beckham, who formed a friendship with Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield last offseason, is expected to help propel Mayfield and the Browns to the playoffs in 2019.
Cleveland is the heavy favorite to win the AFC North this year, which would mark the first division crown for the franchise since the 1989 season.
The team announced its offseason schedule on Friday.
